聯邦速遞的經營城市僅有上海市、深圳市、廣州市、杭州市、天津市、大連市、鄭州市、成都市，UPS的經營城市只有上海市、廣州市、深圳市、天津市、西安市，二者經營城市范疇都未超出10個。業內人士認為，聯邦速遞、UPS精準定位國際市場，網上購物業務流程占有**比例的中通快遞、韻達快遞等“四通一達”并不受蔓延到。反倒是順豐速度與EMS，將*先應對聯邦速遞、UPS之間的競爭。聯邦速遞等外資企業物流公司進到中國時，快遞服務由國家商務部所管，經營并不受限制。2009年10月1日，《快遞業務經營許可管理辦法》跟新改動的《郵政法》同歩執行，除開初次法律上確立快遞公司企業的地位、明確提出快遞行業準入條件之外，還要求投資者不可資產經營信函國內快遞服務，造成各大快遞行業巨頭中國快遞服務均或多或少受影響。上年，DHL把它運營國內快遞行業的全一快遞****股權售賣，退出了國內物流銷售市場。
